We’ll be celebrating European Maker Week with an all week edition of he MakersJam, inviting our community to make in our MakerSpace and open learning areas. We’ll be inventing with Makey Makey, tearing down old toys and electronics to make something new and building spinning tops of all shapes and sizes!
“The maker movement as I understand it isn’t about robots or 3D Printing or STEM or even building things. It’s a new Renaissance, post-industrial, that is led by each person and every person being fluent with the idea of meaning making, ethics, politics of technology, and conscientization.”
Read more about the nature of the maker movement according to Jay Silver on Medium.
Thanks to The Tinkering Studio for inspiration for the spinning tops and so much more.
