How emotional connections can trigger creativity and learning

It’s refreshing to have research to back up your personal perspective about creativity. Following the recent Unit of inquiry at BMS: How we express ourselves, I was particularly impressed with a 4th grade class and the connections they made with characters from the book, ‘Das Fliegende Klassenzimmer’.

The extensive range of creative expression exhibited, from personal diaries and memory boxes to drama installations and Minecraft visualisations was truly remarkable.
