Storytelling in ‘their world’ in First Grade

On reflection of the above article I was amazed at the level of engagement today watching grade one students immersed when learning in ‘their world’.
They were using the app Puppet Pals on the BMS iPads to create animations for their own versions of the Three little Pigs.

Revisiting unit concepts and developing story telling structures these recordings are also a wonderful approach to recording and archiving the language development of our students.

There is a clear development of PYP ICT skills: collaboration, creation, communication, organisation, investigation and becoming a responsible digital citizen.
