Teaching ICT through the Arts is a fun way to get students using technologies and encompasses all six ICT skills identified by the PYP (investigating, creating, communicating, collaborating, organising and becoming responsible digital citizens).<
Looking back through the bms iPad project blog we have had a wealth of innovative uses of the technology available, from using Twitter in Language Arts to Publishing work in Soundcloud.
We recently held a red carpet premier of third grade newly created movies developed within their Transdisciplinary Theme- Where we are in place and time.
By developing film maps or storyboards, student learnt about different camera shots, took on different roles such as director, camera opperator and actor, finally piecing their creation- My Secret Life using editing software iMovie.
